Portrait of Sergey Redyuk

Sergey Redyuk

Senior researcher · DFKI Kaiserslautern

I am a postdoctoral researcher in computer science at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and the University of Kaiserslautern, in the Data Science and its Applications group. My research focuses on intelligent discovery assistants for the design of data science pipelines, reproducibility of data-oriented experiments, and end-to-end management of data science processes.

Previously, I was a Ph.D. student at the Helmholtz Einstein International Berlin Research School in Data Science (HEIBRiDS), working as a research associate in the Database Systems and Information Management Group (DIMA, TU Berlin) under the co-supervision of Prof. Volker Markl (TU Berlin), Prof. Uwe Ohler (Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine), Prof. Zoi Kaoudi (IT University of Copenhagen), and Prof. Sebastian Schelter (TU Berlin).

Prior to my graduate studies, I obtained a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Skövde, Sweden, working on several interdisciplinary projects that bridged data science and domain expertise in social robotics, production line optimization, text analysis, and others.
